About Us
In 1987, Casella Construction was founded by brothers Doug and John Casella. Since then, we have grown to become one of the largest civil and heavy highway contractors in New England and New York. We have an extensive background in heavy excavation, general site work, utility installation (domestic water, sanitary sewer, electrical, and communication), landfill construction, landfill closure, commercial site development, demolition, general contracting, and construction management.
Our Team
Casella Construction has a team of nearly 200 multi-disciplinary employees who are supported by experts in construction, construction safety, quality control and contract management. We believe the key to continued success is our ability to hire and support the best people in the industry. The team is motivated to complete challenging projects to the highest standards and shares an unwavering commitment to professionalism, integrity, and safety.
Our Equipment
With over 200 pieces of readily available equipment, we can mobilize quickly and perform projects efficiently and safely. We were one of the first contractors in our region to incorporate GPS automation into our fleet. We continue to invest heavily in state-of-the-art equipment and technology, including next generation iron and fully automated GPS/UTS systems. This investment helps us improve efficiency and quality at all of our job sites.
